2. Registration

The applicant submits to the Docklands Authority the Section 25 Planning Application Form and accompanying documentation following the Section 25 Guidance Notes provided. The application is then assigned a provisional registration reference number (a DD number). The applicant must then erect a written site notice displaying the DD registration number prominently. Please see "Site Notice Checklist" (a list of what needs to be included in a Section 25 Site Notice) A copy of the site notice accompanied by a Declaration of Site Notice and other photographic documentation must be submitted to the Docklands Authority within 5 working days of the erection of the site notice. Please note a new procedure has now been added for dealing with Deliberate, Vexatious or Accidental Removal of a Site Notice as part of a Section 25 planning application with effect from Monday 8th June 2009. For full information click here.  Once the Authority receives the confirmation and evidence that the site notice is displayed on the site it shall seek to have the application registered and a description posted on the Authority's website and on the public file within one working day.

Third Party Submissions from property owners, residents and others with a property interest within the relevant Planning Scheme area or immediately adjacent to it can be made to the Docklands Authority one working day after the registration of the application for up to a period of 10 working days.
