The provision of high-quality social infrastructure in the neighbourhood such as children’s play areas, cycle and walkways and open space are a key part of the overall Docklands redevelopment. Some of these amenities are already in place. For example, the campshires – the space between the River Liffey and the quays on both sides of the river – have undergone major refurbishment in recent years, providing attractive areas for people to sit, walk or cycle.
