Affordable Apartments in Grand Canal Residence
In promoting the Docklands area as a vibrant living quarter, the development of an established residential base is of paramount importance to the regeneration project. Generally, the Docklands Authority promotes a 60:40 residential to commercial land use mix as outlined in Section 25 Planning Scheme areas. Approximately, 6,516 new residential units have been completed since 1997. 832 of these have been certified as social and affordable housing units by the Authority (Section 25) to date 369 have been completed.
