Schools Principal Forum

The Project
The School Principals’ Forum was established to ensure that the schools in the Docklands were fully involved in the development of education initiatives for the area. This is the only forum of its kind in Ireland and provides a mechanism for the generation of ideas that support and develop the education of the school children in the area.

How it Works
25 principals from primary and secondary schools in the Docklands and surrounding areas, meet four times a year. They work together to create common strategies, swap ideas and develop new initiatives that will advance children’s education.

The Right Result
The success of the School Principals’ Forum is evident from the fact that over 30 education programmes are currently running in the schools represented. These programmes are described throughout this publication.
