CULTURE Night Friday 24 Sept


Culture Night will take place on Friday September 24th 2010, a night of entertainment, discovery and adventure in Dublin and across 20 towns, cities and counties in Ireland. Arts and cultural organisations open their doors until late with hundreds of free events, tours, talks and performances for you, your family and friends to enjoy.

Explore the CULTURE NIGHT in Docklands from 5-11pm on Friday 24th September............

  • Sean O'Casey Bridge - Pieces from Shadow of a Gunman and The Plough and the Stars performed by Oddie Braddell and Dylan McDonagh, directed by Simon Hubbard. 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm (20 mins)
  • Samuel Beckett Bridge - Play, Act Without Words and Beckett poetry performed by Cathal Quinn, Melissa Nolan, Caoimhe O'Malley, Tiernan Kearns and John Merriman, directed by Cathal Quinn. 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm (20 mins)
  • The Abbey Theatre, Tickets to 'The Plough and the Stars'
  • Free classes in Dance Ireland to launch their archive collection and library 
  • History of The Custom House Exhibition in Department of Environment Heritage & Local Government
  • Public readings by students of creative writing in Dublin City Library and Archive 
  • Multimedia presentation on the power of water at Grace Bible Fellowship 
  • Performance by Nigel Rolfe in Green on Red Gallery on 24th Sept at 7.30pm
