8km

The 13th Docklands Run to aid the Schools Social Regeneration Initiative, in 2011 the event raise €10,000.

The target for 2012 is €20,000, €4 from each entry will go direct to local children.
The Event will uses the original 8km flat course along the south and north banks of the Liffey.
The course is AAI approved at 8km and the start time is 7:45pm on Tuesday the 22st of June.

Enjoy an after work run, on closed roads in Dublin city centre. Followed by a post run entertainment.

3rd - John Mulrihill

Women Docklands 5km Run
1st - Aoife Talty
2nd - Annette Kealy
3rd - Brid Ni chonaill

It was a great event, with amazing weather, with €20,000 being raised for Barnardos over the two race series.

Brief outline of course; Starting in Grand Canal Dock, you will run through Ringsend out to Pigeon House Road, across the Liffey at the East link bridge passing the point (O2) and run up to the Custom house, where you will cross the liffey again and straight back to Grand Canal Quay.
