Africa Day is celebrated around the world every year on May 25th. Its aim is to celebrate African diversity and success and to highlight the cultural and economic potential that exists on the African continent.

Africa Day events will take place from Friday 25th May - Sunday 27th May in George's Dock, IFSC

Africa Week Athletics Saturday 26th May

Over 500 people are expected to gather at the Morton Stadium, Santry, Dublin on Saturday 26th May for Africa Week Athletics.

Former Olympic champion, Kipchoge Keino of Kenya, will fire the start gun on the day. Most of the athletes will be drawn from the African Diaspora, however in true intercultural style the line ups will be global and local.
