Sean O'Casey Bridge

4:45pm *** The bridge is now open again for business, apologies for any inconvenience caused.***

The Dublin Docklands Development Authority has temporarily closed the Sean O’Casey Bridge to the general public due to a hydraulic oil leak in the mechanism that enables the bridge to open and close. The leak was identified during routine maintenance of the Bridge last Saturday.

The Docklands Authority is currently reviewing the situation with its engineering consultants and is working to re-open the bridge to the public as soon as possible. The Docklands Authority would like to apologise to any local residents or members of the public who may be inconvenienced during the bridge’s closure.
