Docklands Fun Run - Tuesday, 24th May at 7.45pm
Walkers, joggers and serious runners alike are invited to take part in the fifth annual Docklands 7k Fun Run which takes place on Tuesday, 24th May at 7.45pm sharp.
Open to people of all fitness levels, entry to the Fun Run costs just €10, with each participant receiving a goody bag, t-shirt and medal.
The run starts and finishes at George's Dock, moves out to Ringsend, along the South Quays, Moss Street, Townsend Street and then back to the finish via the East Link Toll Bridge.
Loretta Lambkin, Director of Marketing at the Docklands Authority, said, "Last year's race attracted over 800 runners of all ages and we'd encourage as many people as possible to take part this year. Not only is it great fun but it's also for a worthy cause with all proceeds from the run going to Temple Street Hospital."

The deadline for registration is Friday, 13th May. vThe Fun Run is part of a series organised by the Docklands Authority as part of its efforts to revitalise the River Liffey. The next event on the calendar is the Docklands Maritime Festival, from 17th to 19th June, which will feature a spectacular fleet of 12 historic Tall Ships.
