THE CHQ BUILDING SALE NOW ON
If you're looking to escape for a while from your nearest and dearest after Christmas and a couple of days of overindulgence in food, drink, and family time, retailers in the chq building in Dublin's Docklands will begin their winter sale period on Saturday December 27th at 10am. The building will then be open as normal over the remainder of the festive period apart from New Year's Eve when it will close at 5pm and on New Year's Day when it will be closed.
For those looking to make a day of it why not start with breakfast or lunch in one of the building's popular café's (including Insomnia, Starbucks, Toss'd Noodles and Salads, House of Tea, and ely winebar) before taking the opportunity to pick up a bargain in the beautiful and relaxing mall which houses a range of quality retail outlets including home furnishings and accessories stores, Meadows & Byrne and Environment Furniture; beauty and cosmetics specialist, Nue Blu Eriu; ladies' boutiques, Fran & Jane, The Pink Room, and Kohl; designer shoe stores, Fitzpatricks & The Pink Room; fashion and textiles designer, Ciaran Sweeney; wine specialist Mitchell & Sons; luxurious baby and gift boutique, Bunnies by the Bay and menswear specialists Louis Copeland and Henry Jermyn, as well as the latest gadgets and phones from The Carphone Warehouse.
Then unwind with a glass (or more) of whatever takes your fancy, along with dinner in the fabulous ely winebar, before availing of the new Liffey River Cruises service operating from Custom House Quay outside the chq building which will transport music fans to the newly refurbished O2 venue to take in one of the many concerts scheduled. As the chq building is in the middle of Dublin city centre you can also choose to walk or take a taxi to your favourite night spot and continue the party, or take advantage of parking in the adjacent Jury's Inn Carpark.
Alternatively hop on the Dart, Bus and local rail services available from nearby Connolly, Docklands, Tara Street, and Pearse Street stations as well as Busaurus and Dublin Bus stops, and make your way safely back to the bosom of your loving family.
